looking for all the sheet metal, but want good sheet metal, ive heard that lmc's sheet metal is not very good

I haven't bought any yet, but everyone here seems to like Mar-k.
I bought a tailgate from LMC, and it was better than I thought, but a lot of the complaints come from stuff just not fitting right.

I just got my new stepside bed from mar-k yesterday and they are by far the best i have ever seen.

Repops have come a loooong way from where they used to be, but... buy GM (OE) sheetmetal if at all possible.

X2.....i have a lot of repop stuff on my truck and if I had it to do again i would look of OE stuff...

I recently replaced my radiator support and inner wheel wells which I got from LMC. Bottom line was that it took some grunting to get them to fit and the shipping costs almost killed me! I did look around at my local wrecking yards but everything was rusted out.(especially on the battery side) I would've asked my local GM dealer for OEM ones but I was afraid they would've laughed me off the lot. "1970! Get outta here! Come back when you wanna buy a new truck!"

US steel was the best.With all the mill closings and buy-outs I don`t even know who produces the best sheetmetal.The old Bethlehem steel plant at Sparrow`s Point in Baltimore was bought by Russians and isn`t Bethlehem anymore.

The best sheetmetal body parts across the line will be Tri-Plus.mar-K makes the good Stepside bed parts.some stuff is only available from one maker,so there`s no choice.The best thing to do is look/ask for problems,not how good one or the other is.

Try some of the BB vendors.Most build trucks as well as sell parts and have researched the best available.That doesn't mean it's gonna fit perfect or not require some massaging.

Mar k is by far the best for roll pans and gate skins I can only imagine how good there other parts are and they are made right here in the usa...

My parts from mar-k are amazing, and the best part is there was no shipping damage.
