Help with Pricing and WTB - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I am looking to buy a solid low milage 1980-87 2wd 1/2 ton for weekend work.

If anyone has one let me know. My second question is on pricing. They seem to vary widely in price. I have found a rust free 1986 gmc 2wd short fleetside with 51k miles. It is a plain Jane with Zero options. The seller is asking $3500.00 I found another with about 80K miles for $1500.00 but is a thousand miles away.

Can I get your advice please on values and any trucks available Please?

A truely rust free and low milage truck could easily rake in upwards of 8 - 10 grand around here, but being in the middle of the rust belt, you rarely ever see trucks like that... My buddy has one, and man am I ever jealous about it :P

Doug im in old bridge which is between exit 10 and 11 on the pike and i have a nice 2wd longbed that has a ton of new parts and a crate motor in it. Come talk to me ill let mine go for $1500 negotiable a little
