Tailgate Stuck
Toady I replaced my 2x6 tailgate with a original fleet side one, in the excitement of putting it on I didn't check the status of the handle see if it worked. Once I had everything bolted up I shut the tailgate to check the body lines, and used the handle to let it down and nothing. Pushed and beat with my fist and its still latched closed. What do I need to do to release my tailgate and get it working like it should?

Remove the handle and get in there with a pair of needle nose vice grips and pull the rods to release the latches
