Stance

Hello everyone. Just wanted opinions. Should I leave the rear height alone or bring it down a little? If lower, any suggestions without c-notching the frame?

Re: Stance

Personally I prefer trucks on a rake. I think it looks great the way it is.

Re: Stance

Just my opinion i think long beds look kinda out of place with alot of rake,I think it needs to come down ,long beds look best lowered especially if your going to run big rims...but if you not trying to c-notch it at all Id lower it some at least but leave enough travel between the frame and axle to have a decent ride...

Re: Stance

I voted to leave it. I would actually raise it. I know it's against the current "fad", but I like my trucks up in the air (about an inch or two over stock).

I like them lifted as well. If I lifted it, it would have likely been a 6" lift with 35 inch tall tires. Problem is I drive the truck like a car hence the brakes and wheels. With the higher CG in a lifted truck, I would have flipped it.

The truck has Eibach 2" lowering springs and CPP modular spindles in the front. The rear is air bags with 1" lowering blocks.

Re: Stance

It looks good in the 1st and 3rd picture, but in the 2nd picture the ass end looks way to high. I like the rake look, but it's just a little to aggressive for me in the 2nd picture.

I was thinking the same thing. It's funny how different phone camera angles can change the look of the truck

Re: Stance

I have a long bed & I was just in your Spot. I ended up C-notching the rear and dropping 3 1/2 more inches. heres a before & after. It's completely level now which is what I wanted, but now i wanna lower the front an inch or so to give it just a slight rake.

Re: Stance

I would leave it, I prefer a little rake to the truck (makes them look a little meaner...)

Nice truck!!!

Re: Stance

I like it but also voted for lower, I think those wheels look sick and luv when they are a little more tucked in the rear. I have a 65 longbed fleet, just got my 3/5 drop from cpp. Hope to have time to get them installed this weekend.

Since it's a long wheel base fleet side I'd say lower her.

Awesome truck. Did you use a kit for the suicide doors or flip the hinges around?
