I have a 68 c10 2wd lowered 3 inches in the front and 5 in the rear. Im wanting to run 17 inch wheels in the front with 18s in the back. Im wondering about the wheel offset and backspacing ill need for them to fit. Im also not sure how wide a tire i can go with. If anyone can help thanks

Re: Wheel size help

Stepside or fleetside? Is there a particular reason you want an offset diameter wheels? Why not go with 18's F/R? Either way, we can help with some more info on what you have.

Re: Wheel size help

Yep an 8" wide wheel will fit great front and rear. An 18x9.5 will fit in the rear, but you will have to make sure you measure to make sure of your backspacing. 5" bs will fit great if you have the later(wider) 71-72 rear, but 4.25" backspacing is better on a narrower 65-70 rearend.

255/45/18 front on an 8" wheel and 295/40/18 rear on a 9.5" wheel.
