I have a pair of buckets for my 70 blazer that look just as good. Have you checked into having them reupholstered. I want to get an idea if I am better off heading to the juckyard for something to swap them out with.

i think it's pretty expensive but i'll check for you .that was the third layer.the second was the 1978 registered/official naugahyd (it had a stamp to prove it on the inside) green seat cover that is beside the seat in the pic.the top layer was a black slip on cover.i haven't found a trace of the original upholstery.

70blazer,i haven't priced what it would cost to redo them.i may try to do it myself.i want to keep it original.if you don't care if it's original or not you could probably use the seats from a 73-91 fullsize blazer/jimmy.the ones from the S-series may work too.

Have you found where to buy the foam for the seats? I would love to tackle them myself, I just cannot find anyone who sells any foam kits for them.

lmc has bucket and bench rebuilding kits.i don't know how good they are but,i'm probably going to try it.reupholstering is still a long way off for me.
