anyone on here use trailblazer/envoy 5.3 ac bracket?
I'm at the end of doing a 5.3 swap in my 68 and i don't really like the way the compressor lines are so close to the frame. I don't really want to have to notch the frame but it wouldn't be the end of the world. The trailblazer/envoy compressor and bracket looks like the lines would exit at a better spot for our trucks has anyone else tried one or is there a reason why it won't work? I've searched but haven't came up with any answers. thanks.

My brackets are all from a 2010 Escalade, I`d say they look simular. I bought hose adapters from Docs Blocks.com (starks) last i checked their website changed not sure what the deal is, but hopefully they still sell them.

BTW, I bought them and installed them in July 2011. I didn`t need to trim the chassis at all. The comp. fits in the rail just a little but not a problem at all. The LS compressor works great.

Holley has some nice brackets to mount the compressor up high on the engine.
