moog front coil springs for big block truck

I have a set of basically new moog front coil springs for a c20 big block truck or a p30. These springs were mounted for a mock up and then taken off imediately. They have never seen the road. Moog part number MC-6104. $70 shipped

I'm in Orlando. I have a C30 w/ 402. I can pick them up if I take 'em. Are these heavier than a stock coil? I'm looking for at the very least standard, but I'd prefer something a little beefier.

I am pretty sure they are heavier. they also use these in the p30's as well. I will double check the moog part number to see if they are more heavy duty then the originals.

From what i have read they are direct factory replacements, haven't found any info that states they are more heavy duty then oem.

Re: moog front coil springs for big block truck

That's a very fair price. I'm seriously considering this. Especially to save shipping. As far as I can tell, yours are OE rated. Next rating higher will support another 1000# and stands almost 3/4" higher. Are you sure these are for a BB? My 402 puts a pile of weight on these springs. Right now, when I pulled this engine the first time, the springs came up a good 5". I'm wondering if these are all tired out.

Not sure what year your truck is but it list a 72 c30 6.6 litre as the highest rating. These springs were on the vehicle for mock up only and taken off very shortly after. I know its a pain, but if you want to get them and install them you can and if your not happy i will take them back and give you your money back. I am just that kinda guy
