Dashboard pad...
Removed the dashboard pad on my '69. Little more involved then I thought it would be, ended up having to grind some bolts off, do to all the air conditioning. Do the later model dash pads fit?
I seem to remember the one on my '72 just clipping on...

I took mine off yesterday to...I wonder if the screws in the front would be enough to hold it and maybe get a couple of the nuts back on underneath?
I agree it was a MUCH bigger job than I anticipated...I ended up using a screw driver and just prying mine off for those hard to get to nuts.

I've always used just the screws to re-install mine.
The 72 didn't just clip on unless it was modified. |
