1969 GMC Custom Camper Pics
Well this only took me a year to post more pics. Got it out of storage this weekend so I figured it was time to get some more photos.

Re: 1969 GMC Custom Camper Pics
I tried to get a pic of my spid but it didn't work at all. It is faded so it's not the easiest to read so I wrote it down. Door guards, w/coast mirror, heavy duty rear spring, 396 v8, brake booster, power stearing, 16.5" wheels, camper wiring, amp-oil gauge, custom sport truck, black vinyal custom, tinted glass, A/C, front stabilizer, rear shock, 61 amp delco generator, 4 speed, chrome hub caps, auxilary battery, radio-push botton, camper name plate, red. Also the sticker on the passenger side vent window is from Bellflower, California so I'm not sure if the truck spent some time there before ending up in Darwin, MN

Re: 1969 GMC Custom Camper Pics
So, I gotta ask... what's the hood ornament? My guess, someone installed it along its life?

The hood ornament was installed by my wifes uncle before he was killed in a car crash. If you type in flying lady on ebay motors it will come up

Nice truck. Is that a tach I see in there in pic #2? And a trailer brake controller?

Re: 1969 GMC Custom Camper Pics
In picture #4 I made the radio setup. I bought a cup holder/CD holder from walmart. I then cut off the CD holder and kept just the cup holder and screwed a radio mont from a John Deere 4020 cab to it. Installed a JVC tape deck and speakers that I had. Made it work with what I had and now I have FM radio

Re: 1969 GMC Custom Camper Pics
Nice pictures. Tailgate would look nice detailed. I think the letters floated body color with only the surrounding rectangle section painted silver or white.

Re: 1969 GMC Custom Camper Pics
that IS a sweet longhorn. How are the air bags plumbed? Just to a valve that you air up and go?

Re: 1969 GMC Custom Camper Pics
The air bags a plumbed just like a air shock, there is a valve stem for each bag and they are located above the rear bumber.
Darwin is 30 min east of willmar, 25 min north of hutchinson, 45 min south of st.cloud |

Re: 1969 GMC Custom Camper Pics
Did anyone read the info on the spid I had to write it due to bad photo's sticker to faded. Are the opitons rare or pretty standard?

Re: 1969 GMC Custom Camper Pics
Any big block CST is scarcer than the common bare bones truck, but there's nothing on the SPID making it ultra rare. I have '69 CST-10 that is optioned almost identically except mine has buckets and a console. It is a real nice, well optioned truck though!
