back-up lights

My back-up lights work, but they only work when the tranny is in NEUTRAL!!! Is my switch screwed, or is the linkage just out of adjustment?? It's a th350 trans. Thanks

jason

If it is a coloum shift you need to adjust the switch on the colum. Just unlosenhe screw and rotate the switch untill the light's come on in reverse. You can put the shifter in reverse and rotate the switch untill the light's come on... Hope this help's you out.
