A/c control vacuum switch

Hello, I have a 72 c10 factory a/c, the vacuum switch on the control panel is leaking. Is this serviceable or does someone make just the switch by itself? Thanks

Re: A/c control vacuum switch

I don't know if they can be fixed, but others on the forum may know. I notice this site offers them and he says they are reconditioned: http://thepartguy.com/ac-controls-chevytruck.htm
You will need to know if yours is a 2 port or 3 port switch. When I want a used original part I post a want to buy ad in the parts section and will usually be successful. I didn't know these things could leak, so I suppose you may need a little luck getting a used one or you'll need to get one from somebody who takes the time to test it.
