CL find in Va.

I found it today on CL while I was at work this morning, called the guy and rushed to the mountains as fast as I could. Got it cheap and it has very little rust. My heart almost stopped when I seen it, it was a great deal for the money or at least I think it was. Pick it up in a few days when my buddy gets home so I can use his car trailer. Been looking at lots of other trucks and a few Blazers, but I had to have it.

Thanks, flashed he took less money then he wanted and from what I can tell from my other 70, this truck is a CST. The SPID said it was, I guess the SPID is original.

Re: CL find in Va.

Thanks Rob H, I was just buying the truck as a parts truck for my 70 CST swb. I seen it and now I do not have the heart to part the truck out.

I have a motor in my other 70 CST swb,and will pull and put in the new truck. I am trying to save money to build the BB in the swb, I have the original motor for the swb, but not sure how wild I want to build.

LOL, I know how that goes, I bought my 72 as a parts truck with a good title, hadn't been ran in 10 years, little gas and a battery it fired right up. Now I'm fixing it and parting my 67. Looks like an easy fix good luck with it! How close are you to Mechanicsville, my daughter lives there now and will be in that area some in the future, might have to drop in.

I only live about 15 minutes away. Let me know when you come over this way. I keep telling myself I will stop buying these trucks, I guess I have three again.
