WTB driver's side window regulator

I need a driver's side regulator. The small gear can be stripped, as I am converting to power and will be removing the crank shaft and gear. Shipping will be to zip code 46562.

Thanks,
Mark

Mark, here is the one I have, pretty sure it is driver side, like a ----- I didn't mark it when it was removed. Pretty sure it came from a blue '71 1/2ton I parted several years ago. Still hanging in the parts stash shed.

Boy, the kids are gonna' wonder what the hell was Dad saving all this for one of these days!!

Looks to be in good shape, plastic rollers intact, gear teeth are sharp, just need a good cleaning and lube. Let me know if this works for you. Sorry for the crappy pics. Just finished mowing our two acres, hit the shower and seen your reply when checked email.

It will if you "roll it down". If it's straight, it's too long. Rolling it down puts it at an angle and it will fit perfectly.

Re: WTB driver's side window regulator

Gary, after looking at that pic again, I think the one you have is a passenger side. Here is a pic of the driver's side. The way the spring is wound is opposite, and the mounting screw hole spacing is opposite as well. I don't know if they are all stamped or not, but the passenger side one that I have has a "R" stamped into the back side of the main beam near the pivot.

Re: WTB driver's side window regulator

Mark, thanks for posting that picture, and yes it does seem the regulator I have is a passenger side. Sorry to mis-lead you, was not my intention at all. I removed this from a truck quite some time ago and memory not what is used to was, huh? Will learn from this and next time MARK things when I remove them, left or right and not trust myself to remember. Hope you have not sent payment yet but "IF" you have when it arrives I will send it right back un-opened in another envelope. As they say, My bad.

Re: WTB driver's side window regulator

Gary, no problem. I have not sent payment. Without both regulators side-by-side, it is hard to tell the difference. I jumped on a high note horn one of the members had for sale a while back, and when I received it I realized it was a low note. I did not look at the pic close enough beforehand. So now I check for hi/low, left/right, etc.

Take care,
Mark

Doesn't matter, I will be removing the crank mechanism anyway. Please post a pic when you can.

Thanks,
