Got my first Old Chevy Truck!
Whats up everybody? Just wanted to say hi and introduce my new '71 C10 307 V8 auto! I haven't picked it up yet. I'm waiting to get it in to the body shop to fix some of the usual rust spots on the cab corners and rockers. The floor bed needs some attention too.
I don't have anyway of measuring the cab for a while but was wondering if someone can tell me if it's a long or short bed. |

Re: Got my first Old Chevy Truck!
Good looking truck you have there and to the board from North Georgia! It looks to be a long bed to me. Post some more pics once you get her home.

Re: Got my first Old Chevy Truck!
Welcome from Mississippi. Nice looking truck. It looks like a longbed to me. On the inside of the glovebox door is a label which lists options, etc. At the top of the label, close to the serial # is the wheelbase. 115" for shortbed, 127" for longbed.

Re: Got my first Old Chevy Truck!
Thanks for the welcome everybody!
I'll measure the bed when I pick it up. I was hoping for a shortbed, but if not I might work one on there anyway! |
