Single master cylinder bleed procedure 64 c10

guys I'm sorry, I know its a stupid question, but I cannot for the life of me remember

are you supposed to use the bleeder screw at the front of the master cylinder to get all the air out? or are you supposed to bleed it out of the main line?

I cannot remember how to do this particular master cylinder. it's been way too long since I've done a bench bleed, and the last time I did one I remember having to use the main bleed lines and rub them back into the reservoir. any help is greatly appreciated.

Just did my 64 and the master came with a plastic plug to block
the brake line port clamp in a vice fill about half way and push the
plunger half inch strokes with a screw driver and after a while you will not
be able to push it in very far and you are done

You can do the bench bleeding and then bleed through that valve. Then bleed at the wheels. You can never bleed to much and it won't hurt your brakes.
