Where do you purchase tranny/tc bolts?
i need to get some bolts to connect my tranny to my motor, and my motor to the motor mounts, i heard ARP sells the best quality stuff, where do you go for your bolts?

for the tranny to motor. i got some grad 5 bolts from autozone or orilieys or the auto parts store of your choosing.
motor mounts i got some grade 8 from napa. they seemed to be the only place in town that had any 8 bolts. steven

There's a real hardware store fairly close that still has some grade 5 & grade 8 stuff, and Lowe's also has a fairly good selection across the aisle from the cheap stuff.

Tractor Supply sells grade 8 hardware for 2.69 per pound. I usually just load up a bag with all different sizes of bolts, nuts, and washers.

i just use standard old grade 8s for everything.....the torque converter ones you have to have special...they are 3/8 by 24 5/8 long and you can only get them in packs at like advance auto zone etc. 7.99 for the 3 nuts and bolts :/
