1/2T 4x4 Hubcaps-Restored & Polished Like Chrome!!!

Funny thing happened on the way to restoring several sets of caps for board members...This set didn't get paid for after working them up and sending pictures.
They are premium cores, fully stripped, prepped, polished like chrome on the faces & centers. Run them as is or paint the OEM colors. A lot of hours & materials go into these to get this finish.
$200 + $20 S/H.
First "I'll take them"---gets them.

Nice work as usual! they look awesome....and a LOT cheaper than what they'd run NOS...with painted bowties they'd look the part for sure

I'll take them, Frank. I just looked back through our messages and I didn't realize that you were working those up just for me. Sorry about that. PayPal?

I appreciate that. I almost never do these in advance, without their being pre-paid. I put this last set together for you after you asked if I had a set. They are nice and boxed ready to ship!
PayPal is OK. email: frankeham@comcast.net
Thanks, Frank

PayPal sent. What's the best paint to use? I'm thinking mask them, scuff with scotchbrite and rattle can? Mariner blue for the bowties?

BTW, I spent a LOT more on my brakes than I would have if I had bought that booster from you, AND the shop didn't have my suburban ready when we got back from vacation.

I agree on rattle can painting and scotchbrite. Use a thin 1/16 or 1/8 tape for layout. Easier to control and no gun clean up. GM only used a laquer...nothing special. I don't know exact blue color, but appears to be a medium blue type.

The 12 inchers are a lot more work, and a little more $$$. The centers have to be cut and shaped into the open hub 4x4 style for the front...Yes, I actually convert the full caps into 4x4 front caps, and the rear center are shaped out to clear the FF axles on our trucks.
