Flamed trucks. Pics?
When I was a kid we lived near Burbank CA (dad worked at Lockheed).
There was this random bodyshop within bike-riding distance of our house. One of the employees there rolled a series of then-new Chevy C-10's. Every year or two he'd buy a new one off the lot from the local dealer, and within a week or two it'd be dropped on some wheels (usually slots or Cragar SS's) and flamed. Dude was my hero even though I never talked to him. Drove the old man nuts cause I was always grommet-jabberin about dude with the flamed trucks. Lol.  So with that, can we see some pics of flamed squares? All Google image search brings up is the red rocker, and I already got plenty of pics of that one. Looking for old scans from Truckin and Hot Rod mags. |

Before the hate begins, let me say that I fully understand that this is not a square body Chevy. I am just posting this pic to show how far flames have come since the 50's.
This is my daily driven Ford F-150 show truck.

I had a 84 C10 that was very nice until the quadrajunk decided to puke gas all over the intake and exhaust manifolds. Looked like the Ranger a few posts up. Burnt nicely on the side of the road. No pics though.
