F/S or trade 3:73 posi center section

I have been looking locally for a 3:08 posi, however I found a 3:73 posi coil in a local yard, still under the truck '68, listed on the glove box, both wheels spin the same way, etc.. I have a 3:73 open diff and I want a better ratio for the highway. Lots of highway driving in Montana, and 85 mph @ 3500rpm is tuff to listen too for hours on end. (no offense but I don't know how you guys with 4:11's do it)

If I am going to go thru the trouble of pulling a rear-end and doing a swap it will have to be for a 3:08.

Is someone interested in a swap - your "good" 3:08 posi center section for a "good" 3:73 posi center section.

I have yet to make the deal with the yard, 240 mile round trip.

3:73 posi

A board member and I are working on a trade. If it falls through, I'll get a PM off to you.

As a guy with 4.11's, I rarely drive faster than 65 mph! I got it up to 4100 rpm once (about 75 mph), and thought I'd blow the engine.
