Re: c10 front bed indentification
5 lug and rubber control arm bushings is 73-87 era parts.
You'll need to measure the thickness of your rotors to determine if you have heavy or light brakes. It will either be 1 inch thick or 1.25 thick. Ball joints and tie rod ends are all the same through the 73-87 years for all the half tons. Brake parts are obviously different between light and heavy duty brakes along with the corresponding spindles being different. |

Re: c10 front bed indentification
Well after a bit of measuring/phone calls a local parts dealer has finally managed to get all the necessary information to order the upper and lower control arm bushes. As best as he can work out, it is a c or g series front end, with 5 on 5 stud pattern and 1.25 inch rotors quite a larger control arms, so must be a 3/4 ton model. should be here in england ,week after next and then back together

5x5 lug, and 1.25 inch rotors are standard 1/2 ton items. GM went to a 1" rotor was an attempt to save money, and get better mileage.
