Wanted: Bed Patch Panels!

I am needing a donor patch of the rear lower section of bed panel for my blazer project. On the drivers side I just need a patch from the body crease down and from the wheel well to about 6" behind the wheel well. This patch can come off of any type of bed panel (blazer, swb, lwb). On the passenger side I need the donor section from just above the body crease where the chrome moulding goes to the bottom of the bedside, and from the wheel well all the way to the end of the bedside. I would prefer that this section be from a blazer or short wheel base bedside, but if I had to I could make a donor piece from a long wheel base bed panel work.

Please let me know what you have. Below is a picture of the area I am needing the donor patches from. Thanks!

Re: Wanted: Bed Patch Panels!

I have a set of longbed bedsides I will be cutting up on Friday if I can't find a buyer for complete pieces.

Do you want me to send pics of what I've got?

Re: Wanted: Bed Patch Panels!

Sorry it's taken so long to get pics...

The bedsides are solid, truck looked like it was in original paint. Surface rust only, no rot. They may take a little work ,but nothing major, IMO.

Driver's side looks like it got backed into by something in the taillight area, not too bad though:

Re: Wanted: Bed Patch Panels!

Sorry for the late reply. My wife and I are moving so I have been off the forum for a while. The bedsides look useable for what I am wanting to do. Are there any pits on the backside of the panels (mainly on the bottom 10 inches)?

Re: Wanted: Bed Patch Panels!

If you have extra front fenders, I have used the portion behind the front wheel to patch behind the rear wheel. Just a thought!

Re: Wanted: Bed Patch Panels!

ka_jd7and1, No problem. Life got busy for me and I wasn't able to get on the board for a couple of weeks.

402GMC, Thanks for the tip. I might be able to do that on the drivers side if I cant find a patch from a bedside.
