Re: Door bumpers?
Two bumpers go on each side along the door jamb. There should be 2 holes, one near the top and one near the bottom.
The 60-63 uses a bumper that fits a 1/4" hole while the 64-66 bumper fits into a 1/2" hole. Not sure which door bumpers those are pictured unless they are made to fit both hole sizes.

Re: Door bumpers?
I believe these are the ones for 1/2" holes. I ordered these for my 64', only to find out mine has 1/4" holes.

Re: Door bumpers?
Right, which is what made me question the ad posted by the OP which shows those being able to fit all of those model years. I know that LMC carries one version for the 1/2" 60-63 and another for the 1/4" 64-66.

Thank you for your response, I looked at my door jam and I could find any holes, unless I'm just not looking right. Where exactly are they supposed to be, do u have a picture? Thanks |

Re: Door bumpers?
In this pic you can see one a few inches up in the White part. The other one is down in the belt line area. I know others have said 64-66 should be a 1/2" hole but mine is 1/4".

So these bumpers, how good of a purpose do they serve? Are these ideal to have? And do they make any difference? I would like to assume so, for a fact, my door does make a lot of noise when I'm driving, it moves around a lot like if it was loose in the closed position, I've already tried adjusting the latch |
