First bath

After I got my tranmission leak fixed (stay away from cheap stamped chrome pans btw) and starting issues fixed, I cleared the crap outta the shop and was able to drive around a little bit in my truck. Still needs to be timed and tuned, but it ran. First time its been washed since it was painted.
Still need to go pick up my cowl..

Re: First bath

Nice [clean] truck. I like the wheels and the gas lid!

I'm not much of a blue car/truck guy, but I really like that blue. It is a bit more of a steel blue than most.

WOW, I love it!! That blue is about the same color that my truck use to be. What size tires are you running, and how wide are the rims?

Looks awesome!

Re: First bath

Thanks a lot guys
Wheels are 17x9.5 in the back and 17x8 in the front. Tires are 275/50s and 255/50s. As far as the mirror, I dont really know. Its just a generic one I picked up at a swap meet. The paint is a Dodge color, Aqua Blue Pearl Coat or something like that.
The shop is nice, my dad bought a 2 post lift a few months ago that needs to be installed, that will make it even better.

Yeah, and they even have our name all over it. My dad's cousins work for Kubota and run a couple stores.

Gotcha, thanks! Those look to be the perfect size....they fill up the openings just right and look great with the stance!

Re: First bath

I came very close to painting mine the same color. Good looking rig!!

Looks like you need an adjustable panhard bar to get the rear end centered after lowering.

A number of years ago when I first got my 72 and it was cheaply lowered by heating the springs, I just stuck a jack under the panhard bar and tweaked it just enough to get the rear end centered........

You might be a redneck if.........!!!!
