Help front brake hoses
Well I am at the point of putting the front end together and the brake lines are all run.
Went to go put the hoses on the other day and the one side fitting was too small. Caled NAPA and I was told that in the listing the two brake hoses left and right are different fittings one is 7/16 24 thread and the other is 3/8 24 thread. The smaller one fits my 3/16 line fine but the bigger one looks to be for 1/4 line so my question is what the heck do I do? NAPA part #'s are 380712 and 380713. 71 chevy 1/2 2wd leaf rear and disc front. Thanks again in advance Mike

they should have adapters that simply thread in. you may need to take the hose & a spare piece of tubing in to make sure you get the right one.

But my question was should I have to adapt this or is it wrong ?
I didn't keep the old hoses when I disassembled the truck. So if there was a oversized fitting in that one line it went out with the trash
