Bed removal

I have a 68 LWB with a wood bed. Can I just pull the bed mounts and remove it with all the wood in it, or do I have to disassemble the wood floor first?

Re: Bed removal

You should be able to just unbolt the bed from the frame and lift it off. Don't forget to disconnect the taillight harness!

Re: Bed removal

Actually there should be 8 bolts on 2 boards that connect the wood to the frame, remove those and the 4 bolts that hold the bed to the frame then you can remove it. This is not a very good picture, but you can see the bolts on the wood, the third board from top to bottom..
