I think he's advertising it in a lot of different areas. I don't think it's a scam, he's looking for the right person.

Sadly what it cost to build has pretty much zero influence on what it's worth. I have no idea what it's worth - ultimately you'd need to find a person with a lot of disposable income who wanted a custom, green, classic crew cab truck. That might not be easy, as there probably aren't a lot of them. But there aren't a lot of these done well.

I have a car that cost 5X to restore than what it's worth on the open market. Unless it's a Hemi or L-88 or ZL1 or Boss 429 or similar, that's the reality. The only way to make this hobby work is to never sell them, I think, as you never recoup much unless your build was really mercenary all the way through.

In an unrelated matter, anyone have a lot of spare heated storage near me? :-)
