Talking 1970 C-10 LQ4 engine swap

Hey guys,

I'm new to this forum and I thought I'd post up my progression with my truck so what I have in mind so far and what I will be doing is a engine swap I'm gonna be putting a LQ4 with a 4l60e tranny. I unfortunately will not being doing the work being that I am in the military and never have a set schedule, makes it hard for me to find the time to finish projects. Anyways any thoughts before I go through with it any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Buy some Dirty Dingo motor mounts. They are adjustable and it gives you (or the builder) to option to slide it forward or backwards as needed.

OH sorry, where's my manners. Welcome to the board. Nice looking truck project too.
I have an LS-2 in my Chevelle, so feel free to PM me any questions you might not want to ask everybody.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
