brake conversion

i have a 70 gmc 2500 8 lug....just had a customer drop off a 96 2500 chevy van 8 lug with a blown engine does any one know off hand if the spindles will fit or what i need to make it work or if i am playing with myself...i am buying it anyway for 100 dollars for the 700r4 and to fill it with scrap steel hopeful for the deal of the century on disc brakes

I did the swap with 3/4 ton not sure about a 1 ton
