emergency brake questions

hey guys ive got a few loose ends on the 67 and i thought id takle the ebrake next. my question(s) is what cable set up do i get? the cab is 67 but the frame is 71. im guessing 67 so that it works with the hand brake under the dash but is the hole in the frame the same size in the 71 frame as a 67 frame? also im running a th400 and its a shortbox and cant seem to find the cable for that application. it shouldnt matter what trans im running should it? if anyone has any info on this could they please help out? thanks

Re: emergency brake questions

The 67 front cable is different from the 69-72 cables but the intermediates and rear cables are the same but need to be matched to 2 WD or 4 wd, and transmissions that are used. Leaf springs or coil springs can make a difference, also.

Have you checked with Inline Tube?

I believe that they can solve your problem. Here is a link:
