Power with BBC manifolds

Anyone making GOOD power with there BBC and using stock manifolds? Just wondering because so many of the headers hang too low and they will get drug off on my truck. Thanks

im makin prety good with my 454. im guessing somwhere in the 300-325hp range. all i know is itl lite up 35's prety good

Stock manifolds may not be ideal, but if you think about all corvettes, chevelles, and all most other muscle cars came with them, so if your internals and good for power and you are not building a race truck, monifolds won't make a huge difference.
