I would look into powder coating in you neck of the woods. It cost a little more than paint but it will last you a long time. A place local here in my area quoted me $40 per rim to sand blast and powder coat. Word of advise, make sure they are straight before you invest that money. I took mine to a tire store and they mounted them on a balancer to check for bends in the rim. |

Re: Steelies and Bias ply
Is this a restoration? Just wondering why the choice on biasply? Have you ever rode in a truck that had 4 biasply tires on it? Will certainly look original!!

Re: Steelies and Bias ply
it's not really a driver maybe a sunday driver.
It's close to being all original. love that original bias ply look.... Radials will don't have that look with the big blk sidewall used to have a F100 with ply's on it would not like to drive for 2 hrs on the highway with them but through the city for a cruise will be ok. And you definitely have to hold on to the wheel..... |

Re: Steelies and Bias ply
Okay.....you understand. Carry on sir! ;o)
At least the 4 ply will help by not making it ride like a tank. Can you post a pic of the truck? Although small, looks nice in the avatar. |
