does anyone know?

Hey guys I'm replacing the wiper linkage under the cowl anyway I was wondering do you know the arm on the wiper motor itself if it's in the off position meaning wipers down is that arm pointing up or down ? I asked because wiring is my kryptonite I cannot do it so I have a buddy who is going to come over and do the wiring for me but I'm doing everything else so I want to make sure that when he does get it wired up everything moves in the right direction and doesn't go scratching my paint or something else break because I mounted it all in the wrong position. Thanks for your help with this. Happy Truckin.
