timing
just fired up the beast and its popping at around 5000 rpm. im running a 1000cfm dominator, its burning rich...does anyone know what size of jet i should run?? what should the timing be for a 515 big block chevy??

sweet looking truck! I am running my total timing at 34 but I am gonna try 38 and see if it speeds up or slows down!

I run any where from 36-40 degrees. 92 jets on my 1150. 8lbs of fuel pressure. (165 jets on my 1050 alky dom)Which ignition are you running? Are you sure it's not a rev limiter kicking in?

not sure just running a msd hei distributor i got no ignition up grade yet just order a msd digital 7 box
