fuel level gauge problem

my gas gauge stays on full. anybody know the proper checkout routine for trouble shooting the circuit-gauge etc . ?

Try Disconnecting The Wire At The Tank And Shorting It Out. If The Gauge Moves You Have A Bad Sending Unit. If It Does Not Then The Problem Will Be In The Gauge. Check You Power Source!!!!

That Brown Wire Is Missing In Action ........ Its Also Missing From Sending Unit ...... Homer Has Been Working On This Truck It Seams.... All Your Help Is Very Appreciated. Wire O Wire Where Art Though.

Just run you are wire from sender to the fuse panel and plug it in.
