hey i saw this in cc also. think a might buy one, but will have to take the first filter apart just to see if it works!

In the old days, ya I'm old, we use to stick a magnet to the bottom side of the oil pan or put one on the outside of the filter. Then they came up with a magnet on the drain plug.
