I had a similar situation. I just put a double sheave on the alternator nose and used the forward groove.

Re: Help! these pulleys are making me crazy

When I was putting my 72 GMC 1500 4x4 together I had a similar stiuation I couldn't find the proper pully for the power steering pump so I ended up using a 4 groove crank pulley and just left the 3rd groove from the inside empty. It works fine and I've never had a belt jump off

If you are able to read the pulley p/n on your pump, let me know know the # and I may be able to tell you the p/n for the matching outer crank drive pulley. Mel

I have an extra set of pulleys I had powder coated black, when I get home from work this evening, I'll take a few pictures and post them.
If they might work, you can have them for the cost of postage.

I have to dig through my stash first thing in the morning, I remembered I moved a rubber maid tote out to my storage shed, And I'll snap a few pics showing the diameter and depth using a tape measure, perhaps that will give you a better Idea of whether these will work for you.

That seems to be the correct number. The number matches one of my customers trucks.

Per our old archived short water pump pulley records, we have used your listed p/s pump pulley p/n 3925537 with outer crank two groove add on drive pulley p/n 3923898 on small block applications and also with outer crank single groove add on drive pulley p/n 3925525 on the big block applications. If you end up sourcing a different pulley setup, another very common small block short w/p pulley combo for p/s is pump pulley p/n 3993325 used with the outer crank single groove add on drive pulley p/n 3751232. Hope that helps some, Mel.

interesting pulley. that puley is identicle to a pully used on an aftermarket ac unit instaled on my 68 k20.

I will burn off a picture of a correct pulley that may work for your alternator. its wider than a single groove style but not as wide as a 2 groove pulley. took for ever to find it but there it was, in a corvette catologe......and priced accordingly....ouch

It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

I don't think you have the correct lower crank pulley setup on there now, can you take a better picture, a little closer with flash on the power steering pulley too?

Looks like in the first pic that both the alt and power steering do not line up? Is that correct?

Re: Help! these pulleys are making me crazy

I have a set of proper pulley's in my garage and pictures on my home computer i can post later but they look like the set in post 5, the one set on the engine looks like its from a long water pump setup.

I am questioning you power steering pump, mounts and pulley at this point.
