Re: Who's truck is this?
That be mine, here are some updated pics. Just put 1.5" drop tubular control arms on in the front. Here's what I have so far:
Front: 15x8 TT2 w/ 3-3/4" B.S with 255/70/15 BFG 3" drop springs 1.5" drop tubular control arms w/ poly bushings CPP sway bar and nitrogen shocks Rear: 15x8 TT2 w/3-3/4" B.S. with 285/70/15 BFG 4" drop springs 1" lowering blocks CPP swaybar and nitrogen shocks fixing to change drop springs in front to 2.5" drop spindles w/ 1" drop springs ( the guy at the control arm mfg says anything more than a 1" drop with the new control arms affects the geometry, so change we must. Oh yeah also gonna take out the adjustable panhard bar fromm CPP and replace it with a tracbar relocator kit ( just to make sure the rear geometry is correct also !) Gotta do it Right !! Drives and rides great, no tire rub, handles like a dream !!! |

Re: Who's truck is this?
Would the drop in the original picture be 3" front and 4" rear?

Re: Who's truck is this?
So, 3" Front w/ 255/70/15 BFG (29.06 tall tire)
& 4" Rear w/ 285/70/15 BFG (30.71 tall tire) Well I just ordered my 2-1/2" front spindles and 5" rear Springs (ECE) I love the stance of that truck, So, I was hoping it was close to being what the parts I have coming will make my truck. I've not bought tires yet, So, I'll play with those numbers a bit... Thanks...

Re: Who's truck is this?
This truck sits perfect also...
I Guess a "Chuckles" owns it? And what are the specifics, Drop/Tire sizes...? So far, although slightly different, both these sit perfectly to my tastes... [/QUOTE]
