O/T but cool hood trick for truck $50 shipped
Here is a hood hinge off a 87 park ave. Complete setup ,I have seen these on a few trucks at shows,It is a cool look.. $50 shipped in. Anyone need 87 park ave parts? It is going to be cut up by the local fire dept next monday .Good practice for new members..

I just thought of that,I got these pics yesterday,and forgot about them.. I will pull it off,Tell him anything off this thing,good motor,but wrong year motor. 3.8 overdrive

I could not find my 32 mm axle socket yesterday,and we popped the trunk last night and there was a new one in there,along with other tools..I like free stuff...

i also need the idler pully and the power window switchs on the driver and pass doors all of them and a full size wheel and tire

I did this on my 91'. It takes some fabrication to do it correctly. You need to have the hood "balanced" when opened. If the hinges are too far forward, it won't want to stay open, if they are too far back, the hood will hit the grille. You will have to fab a slide/lock in the rear as the factory one I have never seen anyone get to work. Also, some have had to "split" the hinges by cutting the metal bar in the middle. You need to redo the bar as it keeps the hood from "twisting" on the hinges while opening/closing. All in all, its a lot of trial & error. Took me about 3 hours to install but days to figure it out...
