Windshield Shades ?
Does anyone out there make a Windshield Shade for our '67-'72 Trucks that fits? (The fold up kind to block out the sun).
I checked with some vendors and could not find anything. Also checked online and the sizes are off. Looks like 62 X 20 would be about right, but so far I don't see anything close.

Re: Windshield Shades ?
I had one that was beat to death, but had no name on it. It fit the windshield perfectly. It would be nice to get another.

Re: Windshield Shades ?
Get some good quality poster board and a poster of whatever picture you like and you can make it yourself. Gives you more satisfaction than just buying it. Then maybe some others here would want one so you can sell additional ones...

Strange though, as of all the things they now make for our trucks, you would think that at least one vendor would have some. The same size would probably fit '60 to '66 as well as many others. Good opportunity for someone out there, lol.

Re: Windshield Shades ?
I got one last year at O'Reilly's. Nothing special, just a "large truck" size, but it fits great. Shouldn't be hard to find, or maybe I just got really lucky.

We got an O'Reilly's nearby. I'll have to check that out. Thanks.

Re: Windshield Shades ?
I have two sets shades that have the tension loop around them, and they work perfectly. One set was plain silver that I painted bow ties on (in the picture), and the other are from Foose and have a 53 Chevy P/U on them. One great thing about them is they fold and stow away so easily (and they're easy to put in too).
I don't think I paid more than $5.00 for either set. |

Re: Windshield Shades ?
We've got a NAPA close by too.
I'll give them a try as well. Thanks.
