Intermitten Windshield Wipers
Has anyone come up with a way to add intermitten wipers to our old trucks, or was it a factory option I'm tired of having two speeds -fast and faster...

I saw the post on intermittent wipers last week if I remember correctly. It's back there somewhere. I beileve someone used a switch from a bus.
Now, here's a trick. A previous owner of my rig installed a push button under the carpet, about 2 o'clock up from the high beams foot switch. Found it quite by accident about a week after I bought the truck. Just tap the carpet in that spot with my toe and the wipers make one swipe. Hold it down and it keeps swiping. I'm not sure exactly how it's wired, but it works. And it's cheap.

I have ordered some specail taps and dies to make a bushing so the cole hersee switch can be used without any modification to your existing parts. Just waiting for them to get here then i will have two setups to sell just plug in and wipe. Also i can get the parts for anyone that wants to give it a try but it will run you $65 and i was going to sell my little kit for $70 if i ever get that last few tools i need.
