Paint Question
I know that there is a spot on the board for paint and body questions but there dosnt seem to be anyone there. My question is: I have a gallon of paint that was extra when I painted a 1972 GMC Suburban Paint code was 506 which the PPG number was DAR2202.. Dark Green poly.. Sprayed great and had a really good gloss. Now the problem is, another 72 GMC... Looks to have the paint code of 557 Dark Olive Green Met.. Is this the same Color??? I thought that there was only 2 greens that year. One was that non metalic puke green, kinda light that you see on alot of Blazers and then the darker metalic green that you see on the trucks and Suburbans.. Anyone have a link to the color charts from 69-72? I dont want to look stupid at the paint store
