Rusty cab
This is my problem:
This is the only rust on the whole truck. I don't know what to do, replace the cab or have a shop repair it? |

Re: Rusty cab
yeah not so good... but is it possible for a shop to fix that for under 500 bucks? I really want to keep the truck, it has a rebuilt 402 and turbo 400 in it. Every time I hit a bump rust falls on my lap.

Re: Rusty cab
That'll buff right out.
But anyway, you're looking at a whole new roof, not going to have someone do that for $500 unless you find a private guy who will do it for you. |

Re: Rusty cab
Get a new cab, much cheaper and lots of cabs to choose from here in California.

Re: Rusty cab
For 500.00 I can sell you a very nice cab. The rust on that cab looks to be pretty bad, I would guess about 2000.00 at least to fix that cab. Most shops in this area do not/ will not fix that. Now back east they have a lot of experiece doing that kind of rust repair.

Re: Rusty cab
Or cut a good roof off a cab and have the roof replaced, will probably still cost more than 500
