frame question
is the 1/2 ton long wheel base 2 wheel drive frame the same as a 2 wheel drive 1/2 ton panel?

Not sure on the LWB pickup but the wheelbase on my 67 c10 panel is roughly 127"

The rear cab mounts on the frame will be different but can be swapped over after taking rivets out. The box supports on a top of the rear part of frame are also different than panels..again it can be changed. The frame are basicaly the same...only 4wd frame swap or a leaf spring rear diff would make you have a little more difficulty, but you seem to be chatting 2wd so it should be alright.

I think the rear of the chassis rails might be different. I believe a sport bumper attaches directly to the back of the chassis rails without brackets on the panel.

I have a doner frame, so when the time comes I'll replace the frame ends. My bumper is just micky-moused on right now. That frame is 3/4 ton, though, and I think there are some differences between it and the 1/2 ton.

That you Austin? IF so, I'm going to come by on sunday and take some pictures of the butt end of the 67 two wheel and compare to the back of my panel.
