SOLD: Jasper Rebuilt 292 with HEI & PowerSteering!!!
Sold Locally
********** I WILL NOT SEPERATE THE POWER STEERING PUMP, SO PLEASE DON'T ASK *********** I have a Jasper Rebuilt 292 that runs great. The block apears to be a 1970 and the head is a later model as it says "Hecho in Mexico" . This motor has very low miles on it as everything is super clean, it does not have the typical thin black film on the rockers or anything in the head, just clean metal parts covered in oil. I also pulled the pan to check the bottom end out and it looks like there were new pistons installed as you expect with a Jasper Motor. You can hear the motor run - I will start it up on a pallet or you can check it out on an engine stand with the oil pan and valve cover off. **HEI Dist Included **Power Steering w/correct brackets included - the bracket has a little tweak in it, but it can be straightened easy enough. **rebuilt alternator **New Fuel Pump **Standard Tranny Flywheel **water pump seems to be newer as well. The carb had a rebuilt tag on it, and does not seem to have any hesitation or dead spots in it. $500 gets it all. You'd spend $250 getting the P/Steering and HEI for one of these. I was going to put it in my '87 K2500, but need the cash for another project right now. Located in Coventry, RI - I can get it to Hartford, CT if that helps or the spring swap meet @ the Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA I'll have the pictures tonight. Thanks!

Re: Jasper Rebuilt 292 with HEI & PowerSteering!!!
Here are some more pictures. I cleaned it up a bit, gave it a fresh can of black & threw some a new intake/exh gasket on it as the old one was leaking.
