Break in oil
Is this a good break in oil? Joe Gibbs 01814 BR-30 5W-30 Break-In Motor Oil. Thanks

I used their original break in oil last year in my 396 and it's running strong today.i believe the only difference is the viscosity.the original is 15w-50 .i think you would be safe with either one imho

thats what i was recomended to use just have a hard time with 7 dollars a quart

I've always used what ever (no cheapo junk) I was going to run and never have had issues. Done that with mild daily drivers to 10,000 rpm race motors. Just change it after break in. My unsolicited .02 worth
