Question Question -- Removal of Heat-A/C control knobs

Can anyone tell me the proper way to remove the heater and A/C control knobs? I don't want to bend or break the control levers.

Thanks

Put a shop rag around them. The take a pair of pliers and gently squeeze them, then wiggle. Pull slowly while wiggling them. They will come off.

Good luck with pulling them off. That pewter metal stuff always breaks when i tried to pull mine off. Last one did it and i bought the actual metal ones, that are guaranteed not to break.

Broke two out of three levers pulling the knobs off. If anyone needs knobs I have some!
