No Scade is pidgin English for "not scared" similar to "no fear".

I'm using RAAMmat60. The reviews of this stuff is great (search the web). I bought a roll with over 62 square feet for $79.00 -- much cheaper than most other products out there. They don't have their web site up and running yet, but you can get info and pricing by email at raam@raamaudio.com

I am planning on using some type of sound deadener in my cab, but was unsure about DynaMat just because of its costs....that stuff is OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive.

Here is a question for you guys that have used this type of stuff....How many square feet will be required to do the interior of a cab? (back wall, inner firewall, kick panels, floor, doors)

I've been using dynamat and its very expensive. I don't think it smells. I had a salesman tell me that it stinks and that the product that he sells doesn't stink at all. Maybe when I get the windows in my truck and it sits in the sun all day with the windows up, then it might start stinking, but it doesn't now. I have some pics in my Interior pictures post of how much dynamating i've got done so far. I've done it the bad way though. You can buy a 36 sq. ft. box for 200.00 out of summit. I've been buying in the smaller packages just see if I liked it. I've spent a lot of money on just the little bit I have covered, but if you buy it in bulk, then its not that expensive. But the stuff definatly works good if your trying to queit your truck down. You can tap on the outside of my firewall in an area i have dynamat on and it doesn't make much of a sound at all. Before I put that on the firewall, doing the same thing, you could hear the sound vibrating through out the cab, but the dynamat put a stop to that.
