Bed side lower supports for Fleet side
I have an excellent transplated long fleet bed on a K-20 that the PO found and put on the truck. What I need are pictures if possible and perhaps a measurement here or there.
The supports I am refering to are at the lower side of bed adjacent to the wheel well openings. There are holes down there but nothing is attatched. Kinda like the bed wasn't totaly finished. I am assuming they are like a 5/16 or 3/8 rod from the point I describe to somewhere on the frame to keep the lower sheetmetal from flapping in the breeze. Any help would be great. I can fab it all up without any problem. Thank you |

Yes. I take it they are front of and behind the wheel?? also what diameter are the rods??
Thanks much. Makes since they would attatch to the box and not the frame. |

Re: Bed side lower supports for Fleet side
The rods are used in front of the wheel, behind the wheel are the steel splash guards that also reinforce the bedside.

The rods are 1/4"-5/16". Not sure of the length. Mine are at my painters right now. Can't get exact dimensions for you. Hope this helps?

Re: Bed side lower supports for Fleet side
I get it . The pictures show right and left sides of the truck in that order. I guess I am not sure if I have the splash pans either. Is there someone who could post a picture???
