Lowered The Longhorn Today

well not really....... Had to haul a yard of washed rock for my house project..Not sure how much the weight was but the Longhorn had no problem..........Maybe I will lower it a bit some day..........NAH........

Did the Longhorns have coil-spring rear suspension? I know my 1/2-Ton LWB really squats under load. I don't think I could haul very much rock in it without rubbing the tires.

Yup, fast is correct, all longhonrs had leafs...2 stage, seven leaf 2000 pound springs on the 3/4 ton, and single stage eight leaf 2400 pound springs on the one ton.

some beefy ass springs too! i need 800 pounds or so to smooth out the ride lol!

Yah, my 1 ton Longhorn rides a lot better loaded. Mine is lowered a couple inches. Still works as hard as I ask it anytime. Brought home a load of firewood in it some months back, it didn't sag at all.
